Dennis The Menace Park

Today we went to Dennis the Menace Park with Kennie. I've been wanting to take her there since I found out it existed, but we could never find it. We finally tracked it down last week- and decided to take her this weekend. It's such a big park and their are so many things to do. She really enjoyed it.

And afterward we stopped by Jamba Juice- perfect end to a fun afternoon.

Monterey Bay Bikes

Today we rented a small surrey bike and took a ride on the bike trail that goes along the ocean and into Cannery Row. It was a lot of fun. We rode for 2.5 miles and Kenzie really enjoyed sitting up front with the breeze. She thought her helmet was a crown- which was adorable!!!

My Vitamins Rock

I have always hated taking vitamins- and my darling J is usually hassling me about how I need to take them. I get weird pains in my wrist maybe every other week for a minute or two and sometimes my leg will give out on me. Really though, this isn't a big deal. I can deal with a couple minutes of pain a week. Vitamins suck! They're huge, for one. They leave that gross taste in your mouth, and did I mention- They're HUGE!!!??? This all change for me yesterday when I discovered the most glorious vitamin known to man-

Aren't they beautiful? It's like candy. I get to eat four of them a day (only four a day- that's the downfall in this whole thing)

When we got home from the store I started popping them in my mouth declaring that vitamins are now going to be the most awesome part of my day. They're so yummy! The husband? He watched me in disbelief, later claiming that I need REAL vitamins, adult vitamins. I disagree- these are adult vitamins. They have directions for people older than four years old all the way up to adults on the back. These are real vitamins, and they are grand. (:

Tonight isn't the typical anniversary night; however it's going to be wonderful. I'm making J a candlelit hobo dinner (and of course little miss kennie will be attending). Then we'll probably go for a walk on the beach. I adore him.

My Paradise

The other day while we were driving in the car I exclaimed that I LOVE living in paradise. J was blown away. Paradise? You think this place is paradise?!

So I guess we have a different description of paradise (:

Just blocks away from the ocean- what more could a girl want?

I'm blissfully happy and blown completely away every time I step out the front door.

How do people drive and keep their eyes on the road in this place?

Our Monterey Adventure

Hello Friends-

As most of you probably know we recently just got the opportunity to move to Monterey, CA. We initially thought that only Jesse would be able to go- but very last minute everything fit together perfectly and Mckenzie and I got the chance to go aswell. It was been very hectic- but we absolutely love it here. We live just blocks from the ocean and go to the beach daily. It still doesn't feel real. We miss our family and all our friends and can't wait to visit them soon- but we're especially excited for all the visitors that are coming to us! Here are some pictures of our adventure so far-
